ABOUT

BannerBagBannerbags has been trading since 2007 originally recycling banners seen in Liverpool to promote the Liverpool Capital of Culture the company has continued to recycle banners from numerous events and advertising campaigns and is the only recycling company in the UK converting PVC advertising material into fashion bags and accessories. We have to date diverted more than twelve tonnes of material from landfill and converted it into reusable products.

The bags are created largely from the recycled banners and the webbing from recycled car seat belts, there is very little waste in the production process and apart from a few fittings and thread very little virgin material is used.

Using a product sourced from the UK not imported and reducing the use of virgin raw material from source we are constantly developing our ideas and operating procedure to be as environmentally aware as possible with regards to production and shipping, we co-ordinate with the company erecting the banners to keep transportation to a minimum.

Our intention is to create functional and practically designed products from waste material to comply with the principles of creating environmentally sustainable products with minimum negative environmental impact.

BannerBagOur efforts have been recognised since our conception and we have received numerous awards - our most recent accolade being one of the winners of the BT Business Essence of the Entrepreneur Awards 2010 which included as part of the award a photographic session with top photographer Rankin so we now have some fabulous promotional pictures for the company along with The Design Show Liverpool Award for Best Accessory - National Recycling Awards – Best Product Finalist.

In essence being a recycling company our ethos is to trade responsibly and ethically converting waste material into usable products we endeavour to help a wide range of companies maintain their sustainability and reduce their carbon footprint along with adding a bit of fun to recycling.
